Q: How long will it take me to do the course?

A: This course is equivalent to reading a 500 page book. Q: Is there an Apple version?

A: At this time, our CBT courses only run using the Windows operating system.

Q: Why won’t the SQL course CD “autoload” when I place it in the CD-ROM drive?

A: Because of copy protection, the CD must be in the CD-ROM drive while you run the course from the hard drive. Every time you go back to the course and place the CD back in the CD-ROM drive, if the CD did an autoload, It would try to re-install the program. Installation instructions are on the back cover of the CD holder and located below.

Q:  How do I install this course on my Windows computer?

A: For Vista:
Insert the CD in the CD-ROM drive.
Left click on Windows “Start” button (in the lower left corner of your Windows desktop screen).
Left click on Start Search …
Where it says “Open:”, Search… for or type in “D:\setup.exe”
(without quotes, where D: is the CD-ROM drive).
Left click OK.

For 98se/NT4.0(sp6)/2000/Me/XP:
Insert the CD in the CD-ROM drive.
Left click on Windows “Start” button (in the lower left corner of your Windows desktop screen).
Left click on Run …
Where it says “Open:”, Browse… to or type in “D:\setup.exe”
(without quotes, where D: is the CD-ROM drive).
Left click OK.

Q: How do I remove this course from my Windows computer?

A: There are two ways to remove the course.

Left click on Windows “Start” button (in the lower left corner of your Windows desktop screen).
Place your cursor over “All Programs”.
Move your cursor over “Computer Based Training Inc.
Carefully move your cursor right over “SQL Single User” (or “SQL Multi-User”).
Move cursor right over “Uninstall SQL Single User” (or “Uninstall SQL Multi-User”) and left click.

Left click on Windows “Start” button (in the lower left corner of your Windows desktop screen).
Left click on “Control Panel”.
Double click on “Add or Remove Programs”.
Scroll down and left click on “SQL Single User” (or “SQL Multi-User”).
Left click on the “Remove” button.


Q: What is CBT’s return policy?
